The Festival Warm-up Tournament is a Windy City hosted tournament for club teams in the U14, U16 and U19 Divisions. Teams attend from Illinois, Wisconsin and Missouri.
DATE: Saturday November 12 and Sunday November 13, 2011
TIME: Saturday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Sunday 7:30am - 3:00pm
LOCATION: Oak Park & River Forest High School, 201 N. Scoville Ave., Oak Park, Illinois 60302, http://www.oprfhs.org/about_us/maps/.
SURFACE: 2 filled turf regulation fields
REGISTRATION FEE: $500 per team
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Saturday October 1st, 2011. Registrations are considered conclusive when received by Windy City and will be handled on a first come first served basis. Once received, there will be no refund of the registration fee for any reason.
WHO MAY ATTEND: Any club team that has teams in the appropriate age groups – U14, U16 and U19.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: 60 minute game; 2, 25 minute halves, round robin format, 11v11 matches, 5 game guarantee
TEAM SIZE: Suggested 20 player maximum per team roster
AWARDS:, Pool winners may be named and awards will be given
T-SHIRTS: Long sleeved tournament shirts with each school/clubs name will be available at the field for $20
ATHLETIC TRAINER: A certified athletic trainer from Athletico will cover the event.
SPECTATORS: All spectators are welcome, there will be no admission charged. Grandstands are at the north side of the field, and there is room on the peripheral track to observe. We ask caution when spectators are moving about the fields.
INJURIES AND INSURANCE: All players should have evidence of medical insurance in their possession or with parent or coach. In the event of serious injury, players will be taken to a local hospital by EMT. We recommend that a brief written history of each player's medical condition accompany the team with the coach. In the event of injury and unconsciousness this will assist the trainer or other medical personnel in expediting treatment.
