Summer Roots Program Details

PROGRAM 

The Windy City Roots goal is to allow young players the ability to experience the fun of playing with a stick and ball. It is appropriate for players that want to experience the sport for the first time or continue to learn and develop. Summer Roots is a camp like atmosphere where players meet two days a week for three weeks. Each session consists of a skills component and finishes with small game play. The emphasis is on learning and perfecting the basic skills. All coaches are are Windy City Travel coaches. The program uses age appropriate curriculum and teaching methods for players at a younger age.

PROGRAM DIRECTORS

Roots is managed by Katie Beach and Keith Beach

EQUIPMENT

All players are required to have their own sticks, shin guards and mouth guards.

CONFIRMATION INFORMATION

All confirmation is communicated by e-mail and the Windy City web site. As registrations are received, an e-mail is sent and the players name appears in Confirmed Players. After registrations are closed, players will receive more detailed information.

AGE DIVISIONS

TURF TYKES DIVISION -1st, 2nd and 3rd Graders

MIGHTY STICKS DIVISION- 4rd and 5th Graders
