Barb is the Owner and Director of Windy City Field Hockey. She graduated as an Education Major from Northern Illinois
University where she played field hockey. She spent 35 years as a PE Teacher and 29 years as the head field coach at Oak Park and River Forest High School. Her teams were consistent winners in the Illinois High School Field Hockey Association. Since 1991 she has been taking Windy City teams to Festival and has since 2000 has planned the instruction and curricula for Windy City Academy, Select and Travel events. She has served in many capacities in the USFHA as the National Futures Chair, Chair of the All American Committee and most recently is serving on the U12 Task Force for the dream of developing youth field hockey. Recognized nationally for her effort and success at developing Midwest field hockey, in 2000 she received the United States Olympic Committee Developmental Coach of the Year Award. Barb's passion and dreams always keep her thinking about the next step for Windy City Field Hockey and how the club can bring the joy of playing field hockey to as many people as possible at every level of committment, time and enthusiasm. With Barb's extensive coaching experince and exposure to field hockey at the highest level, she understands what it takes to bring field hockey to all levels of interest.
Warren is the Owner and Director of Windy City Field Hockey. He is the business partner responsible for the business and
off-field operations of Windy City Field Hockey. Formerly a manager and executive in the corporate relocation and financial services industry, since 2000 he has been involved with Windy City and making field hockey his full time profession. He has also assisted schools and park district programs with planning and budgeting for new programs and volunteers at local field hockey events. Warren is the Windy City back office that assists in all events being executed and run smoothly.
