Windy City provides league play for U14-U19 players for the Travel Teams to start preparing for the competitive season. Only players that have been selected to the Travel Teams from the Winter program may sign up for the spring Travel program. The emphasis in Spring is to continue to develop skills plus play tournament games. Travel team players will train one time during the week with their travel coaches in a 1.5 hour session and one day on the weekend with skill work and tournament games in a 2 hour session. Games are small sided and played on a smaller field. Players will receive equal playing time. Tournament style is round robin and champions are named. Travel Teams are coached by the travel coaches.
Spring League is managed by Katie Beach and Keith Beach.
Each player will wear a Windy City reversible jersey. Reverisble jerseys will be available for purchase in our team shop. All players are required to have plain black shorts, black socks, their own sticks, shin guards and mouth guards. Eyewear is optional.
All league confirmation, team rosters and game schedules will be communicated by e-mail and the Windy City web site. As registrations are received, an e-mail is sent and the players name appears in Confirmed Players.
