USHFA Festival Results!!!!

Windy City proudly wins it's first medal in the National Tournament.

Each year the USFHA hosts one of the most prestigious and largest field hockey tournaments in the world called the National Festival. Over 200 teams from all over the world play in this tournament. Windy City has been attending the Festival since 1991 and attended this year again with three teams: Windy City Flyers Blue, Windy City Flyers Red and Windy City Flyers Green.

Our teams have always done well in this tournament, but have never captured the elusive pool winner medal!! This year the Windy City Flyers Red team, coached by Kristin Provencher, is the Pool Q winner!! Windy City Flyers Blue took second in Pool I and Windy City Flyers Green placed third in Pool R. We are so proud of all the teams - great showing for Windy City, their high school teams and for themselves as athletes!! The records, GK shut-outs and goal scorers are below:

Windy City Flyers Blue   4-1-1, Finished 2nd in Pool I, Coached by Diane Cooper
